Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, The Ludacris Foundation and Pepsi Make Generous Donation to Washington DC Area Non-Profit Groups
Washington D.C. – September 14, 2006 – Multi-platinum selling artist and actor, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, is taking time from his busy promotion schedule of his upcoming album “Release Therapy, ” in stores September 26th, to present Washington, DC non-profit groups with a donation of $65,000 on behalf of The Ludacris Foundation and Pepsi. “It makes me proud to have the ability to donate these funds to help youth in urban communities. This partnership with Pepsi enables us to provide more funds to communities in need.”
The Ludacris Foundation has donated $255,000 to Washington, DC area non-profit organizations over the last three years. The four organizations chosen this year have received $245,000 during this period - Dance Institute of Washington DC - $95,000; Sol & Soul - $45,000; DC Writers Corp - $45,000; and Sisters of the SON Foundation - $60,000.
